Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation tasks under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and storage areas, to meet hygiene and safety regulations.
- Execute basic cooking techniques such as chopping, grilling, and sautéing to contribute to the timely preparation of dishes.
- Support the team in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming food supplies to ensure freshness and inventory accuracy.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills while actively participating in training and development programs.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen environment or culinary training from a recognized institution.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, following instructions from senior chefs while communicating clearly with colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the operational needs of the restaurant.
