Summary:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Education Level: Certificate, Diploma
  • Cantonese, English, Putonghua

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating.
  • Coordinate table assignments and reservations.
  • Familiarize yourself with the menu and provide recommendations.
  • Address any guest issues promptly and professionally.
  • Supervise waitstaff, hosts/hostesses, and other restaurant personnel.
  • Train new staff members on service standards, menu details, and procedures.
  • Organize staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Ensure accurate order-taking and timely service.
  • Oversee food presentation and quality.
  • Monitor table turnover and overall restaurant flow.
  • Manage inventory levels for beverages, utensils, and other supplies.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely restocking.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Hygiene Standards: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Collect guest feedback and address any concerns.
  • Encourage up-selling of menu items.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments:
  • Liaise with the kitchen staff for smooth order execution.
  • Assist in organizing special events and functions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in restaurant supervision or management.
  • Excellent communication skills. Preferably high fluency in Cantonese, Chinese, and English.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
