Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all events, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and banquets.
- Maximum customer satisfaction by meticulously organizing and executing events.
- Prepare all event documentation, including contracts, timelines, and logistics.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and tailor event solutions.
- Coordinate with various hotel departments (catering, housekeeping, audio-visual, etc.) to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Oversee event setup, including seating arrangements, decorations, and audio-visual equipment.
- Ensure events start and end on schedule.
- Maintain high standards for event quality and presentation.
- Interact with clients and guests to understand their needs and preferences.
- Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in creating event budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor expenses during events to stay within budget.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event management or related roles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and details simultaneously.
- Develop innovative event concepts and solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, preferably in Cantonese and English.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
