Summary:

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience
  • Education Level: Degree or above
  • Cantonese, English, Putonghua

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain quality leads from targeted cities via different networks/channels.
  • Analyze, evaluate and prepare feasibility studies & project profiles of qualified leads for potential projects including detailed market analysis, financial projections and site inspections.
  • Establish relationship with real estate owners/developers, property agencies, architects, quantity surveyors, interior designers, financial institutions and other hotel development related enterprises for potential opportunities at key strategic markets.
  • Lead and supervise the Business Development Team and co-ordinate with different departments in preparing proposals and pitch to the prospective owners.
  • Assist with the negotiation of consultancy, management and joint venture contracts, directly coordinating these efforts with the VP Finance & Business Development, appointed legal, tax and accounting advisors to achieve the maximum benefit for the hotel management company.
  • Establish rapport with potential owners, developers of hotel properties for potential investment and management affiliation with the hotel management company.
  • Assist the VP Business Development with the development of marketing and promotional strategies in support of the hotel management company's development program.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, Hospitality Management or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 10-year experience of which at least 5 years in senior business development role.
  • Working knowledge of hotel operations.
  • Familiar with technical aspects of hotel planning and design.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Asia Pacific region in terms of geographic and economic potential.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and business travel is required.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin, other language would be desirable.
