 Job title  :  Director of Security for a 4-star Hotel in Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive security programs and protocols to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel assets.  
• Lead and manage the hotel security team, including security officers and personnel, to maintain a high level of security standards and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular security assessments, risk analysis, and audits to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement effective mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with department heads, management, and external agencies to coordinate security initiatives, emergency response plans, and crisis management protocols.
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches, theft, and unauthorized activities.
• Manage security budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize security services and solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel security management, with a strong background in hotel security operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse security team.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or police force is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of security technologies, surveillance systems, and access control systems.
• Familiarity with local security regulations, emergency response procedures, and crisis management protocols.
