Director of Sales Position for a 5-star Hotel in Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share in the China market.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to drive revenue growth and build strong relationships with clients in China.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to enhance the company's presence and sales performance in the Chinese market.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop effective sales campaigns and initiatives tailored to the China market.
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales team, including training, performance evaluation, and goal setting.
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices related to sales in the China market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership and business development in the China market.
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese market dynamics, customer preferences, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within China and internationally as needed.
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
