The Aberdeen Boat Club is located in Wong Chuk Hang (MTR exit B- 8 mins walk), South Hong Kong Island, and is dedicated to providing recreational and competitive sea-based activities with a second clubhouse located on Middle Island. We are now seeking a high-caliber individual for the role of Assistant Facilities Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• To co-ordinate, oversee, execute, and ensure building fabric and building systems are maintained to expected quality or performance standards and is always fully operational.  
• To ensure compliance and be responsible for renewal of Club licensing including but not limited to FSD, WSD, EMSD, EPD, HAB, CSTB, FEHD etc.
• The portfolio consists of a main clubhouse and separate sporting building in Shum Wan, as well as a separate clubhouse complex on Middle Island.  

Requirements

• Acquired 2-3 years of practical working experience in a similar role or as a Facilities Officer. Less experienced candidates will be considered for a junior role.
• Prior working experience in a membership club, hotel, large building complex or school posting will be beneficial. 
• Available to work outside of office hours occasionally. 
• Technical education in construction, building maintenance, facility management or similar discipline (VTC, IVEY, SPACE, etc.)
• Good command of Chinese and Basic English language skills for technical work communications is required.
