  • Minimum of 5 years' experience

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional and innovative dim sum dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dim sum offerings.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients, to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dim sum kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Dim Sum Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of traditional and contemporary dim sum recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff and other departments.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed in a dynamic hospitality environment.
