The Department

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

The Job

You will:

• 在會員和其來賓使用游泳池時提供服務，同時也應確保他們的安全，游泳池的清潔和保養。
• 確保只允許註冊會員和其來賓使用會所游泳池設施，並維持游泳池區的良好秩序及有效地執行香港賽馬會附則。
• 在任何時候池面必須有救生員在場，以確保游泳池用者的安全。當有需要時，應為泳客進行救生及急救程序。
• 負責填寫游泳池日常運作的運作檢驗單，並報告所有可會影響泳客及正常泳池運作的事項。
• 定期安排水溫和水質檢查，並根據香港賽馬會所的要求標準記錄有關資料。
• 以確保會所所有救生設備，包括急救箱，已妥善擺放及可供任何時候使用。
• 在每日早上及日內整理泳池設備，以確保所有泳池設備或設施已得妥善保養，並達到香港賽馬會的要求標準。
• 為游泳班及水上活動安裝和除去分池道線，並在有需要時，執行游泳池及周邊地區的清潔工作。
• 在淡季或非繁忙時間，負責提供其他服務或維修工作。
• 與會所其他部門合作/協調向會員提供服務，如急救服務等。
• 履行管理層所指派的任何任務。
• To provide services while members and their guests are using the swimming pools, also ensuring their safety, cleaning and maintenance of the swimming pools
• Ensure that only registered members and their guests are allowed to use the clubhouse swimming pool facilities, maintain good order in the pool area and enforce the Hong Kong Jockey Club By-laws.
• A lifeguard must be present on the pool deck at all times to ensure the safety of pool users. When necessary, life-saving and first aid procedures should be carried out for swimmers.
• Be responsible for filling out the operation check list for the daily operation of the swimming pool, and report all matters that may affect the swimmers and the normal operation of the swimming pool.
• Regularly arrange regular inspections of water quality and record relevant data according to the standards required by the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
• Make sure all life-saving equipment, including first aid kits, is filled and ready for use in the Clubhouse premises.
• Clean up the swimming pool equipment every morning and during the day to ensure that all swimming pool equipment or facilities have been guaranteed and meet the required standards of the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
• Installation and removal of lane lines for swimming classes and aquatic activities, and cleaning of swimming pools and surrounding areas as required.
• During the non-peak time or season, be responsible for other service or repair work.
• Cooperate/coordinate with other department in the clubhouse to provide services to members, such as emergency services etc…
• Any duty task assigned by supervisor/management team.

About You

You should have:

• 1 year relevant experience;
• A valid Pool Life Guard Award;
• A valid First Aid Certificate
