We are seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing for our client to lead the sales and marketing efforts for our city hotels Group in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and brand awareness. Strong experience in the travel trade sector is a key requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Lead a team of sales and marketing professionals to drive sales initiatives and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key travel trade partners and agencies
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability.
- Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing management within the hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on the travel trade sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Knowledge of the Hong Kong market and travel trade industry trends.
- Familiarity with revenue management principles and marketing analytics tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing market conditions and business needs.
- Proficient in oral and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
