Responsibilities
- Work effectively and collaboratively in a small team environment
- Accounts Receivable:
- Oversee the processing and monitoring of members’ settlements and incoming receipts, ensuring proper cut-off and documentation
- Review and approve receipt postings, member account adjustments, and related supporting documentation
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Income Audit / Revenue Checks:
- Review revenue transactions and reconcile operating systems with General Ledger postings
- Ensure completeness of revenue postings and proper cut-off between operating systems and the accounting system
- Investigate discrepancies and drive corrective actions with relevant departments
- Supervise reconciliations between operating systems and the accounting system, identifying interface variances and exceptions.
- Perform and support other accounting functions and ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sizable organization of Hospitality Industry, preferably in hotels and/or private clubs
- Member of HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred
- Higher Diploma or recognized degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines is desired
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to handle exceptions and investigations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and familiar with SUN accounting system, Opera PMS and Simphony POS.
