Responsibilities:
- Patrol all areas of the property, including public spaces, guest rooms, and back-of-house areas.
- Assist guests with room access and inquiries.
- Monitor security feeds from closed-circuit televisions (CCTVs), perimeter alarm systems, and fire life safety systems.
- Be well-versed in emergency procedures and protocols.
- Respond promptly to accidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations.
- Coordinate with emergency services (EMS) as needed.
- Detect and act on suspicious behavior or unauthorized access.
- Defuse guest disturbances professionally.
- Conduct frisks when individuals are suspected of unlawful possession of hotel property.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, thefts, and security violations.
- Provide eyewitness accounts when required (e.g., police stations, court proceedings).
Vulnerability Assessment:
- Identify and report vulnerabilities in security systems.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance security measures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a loss prevention officer, mall security guard, or in a similar role.
- Undercover experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work undetected when necessary.
- Perceptive, intuitive, and able to exercise good judgment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing duties with speed and precision.
