Responsibilities:

• Always greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
• Assist guests with table reservations.
• Guide guests to their seats.
• Ensure guests are served within the specified time.
• Menu Knowledge and Recommendations:
• Familiarize yourself with the menu and presentation standards.
• Provide clear information about menu items and assist with menu selections.
• Anticipate unexpected guest needs and respond promptly and tactfully.
• Serve food courses and beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Record orders accurately using the Point of Sales (POS) system.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability.
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Clear, collect, and return food and beverage items to the proper area.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including china and glassware.
• Review order dockets to ensure accurate and timely preparations.
• Present accurate final bills to guests and process payments.
• Conduct shift closing on the POS terminal and reconcile cash and credit card settlements.
• Keep the restaurant clean and organized, both front-of-house and back-of-house.
• Implement hotel brand standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with fellow staff and managers to maximize the restaurant's potential.
• Complete daily responsibilities assigned for each shift.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks on operating equipment and supplies.
• Coach and develop junior staff.

Requirements:

• Diploma in the field of Hospitality studies is advantageous.
• Interact courteously with customers. Fluency in Cantonese, Chinese and English will be crucial for the role.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
• Open to working shifts, weekends, and holidays.
