Job Summary

• Clean guest rooms (bedroom and bathroom) according to established standards.
• Organize and stock cleaning carts and organize linen pantries on floors assigned.
• Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned worksheet, such as room attendant worksheet and minibar voucher, etc.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned and in order to adhere to safety standards.
• Collect daily allocations of rooms and keys. Ensure worksheet is kept up to date throughout shift, and keys are signed out & kept securely.
• Deliver clean linen, toweling and amenities to floors.
• Collect rubbish from floors and dispose correctly.

Education

• Secondary school or Vocational Training education preferred

Skills

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Working knowledge of applicable sanitation standards.
