We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sports and Recreation Manager for our client, a renowned Private Members Club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of 30-40 staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and implement engaging recreational programs and activities for club members.
- Manage and mentor the coaching staff to ensure high-quality instruction and service.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to report on staff performance and program success.
- Ensure all facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Sports Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the recreation industry.
- Proven track record of managing a diverse team of 30-40 staff members, including tennis and swimming coaches.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to oversee and coordinate recreational programs effectively.
- Ability to mentor and develop coaching staff to deliver high-quality instruction and service.
- Experience in collaborating with senior management to assess staff performance and program success, with a focus on maintaining facilities to meet member needs.
