Responsibilities:
- Receive, document, and separate soiled linens, terry, uniforms, and/or clothing.
- Identify stained or damaged items.
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
- Apply treatment to stained items.
- Press and fold cleaned articles.
- Hand wash garments.
- Respond to guest requests for laundry/dry cleaning, minor repair, and pressing.
- Maintain records of laundered items and uniforms distributed and returned.
- Deliver laundry/dry cleaning to guests and employees.
- Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
Requirements:
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
