Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Responding to and attending to guest repair requests.
- Communicating with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
- Performing preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room equipment (including cleaning and lubrication).
- Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines.
- Identifying, locating, and operating all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
- Maintaining maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed.
- Displaying basic knowledge or acquiring knowledge in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, energy conservation, and general building maintenance.
- Performing surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb replacement, and thorough cleanup of painting or repair areas.
- Testing, troubleshooting, and performing basic repairs on various equipment and guestroom items.
- Repairing interior and exterior landscaping and external landscaping sprinklers.
- Following all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, and properly storing flammable materials.
Requirements:
- Formal Apprenticeship Training/OC/HC in related Engineering discipline or equivalent qualification background
- Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker Grade A or above
- 3 years with Hotel engineering working experience or equivalent related experience
- Good technical knowledge in electrical system, fire services system, plumbing & drainage system and MVAC system, etc.
