Job Summary
- Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access as required.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
- Lock property entrances when required to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct daily physical hazard inspections throughout the property.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies; contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required.
- Assist guests and employees during emergency situations.
- Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, assaults, or other incidents.
- Defuse guest and employee disturbances and call for outside assistance when necessary.
- Complete incident reports documenting all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents.
- Handle interruptions and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify and resolve safety hazard situations.
- Escort unwelcome or unauthorized persons from the property without disrupting normal operations.
- Respond to scenes of vehicle accidents or thefts.
- Call for assistance using proper code responses.
- Complete Loss Prevention shift summaries and daily activity reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports and documents; release information only to authorized individuals.
- Conduct investigations and gather relevant evidence.
- Conduct interviews with relevant parties as part of investigations.
