How to automatically comply with the 418 regulations?

Attention to Details in the 418 Regulations!

In 2023, the Department of Labor reviewed the regulations regarding "418" continuous contracts and proposed a change based on a 4-week total working hours basis. Employers are required to meet different hour requirements within a four-week period, namely 72, 68, 64, and 60 hours. Whether hiring full-time, part-time, or temporary workers, employers need to pay attention to discussing the protection details. Employers and HR should be aware that the following aspects are protected by the 418 regulations: wage protection, holidays and leave, retirement and leave, family-friendly benefits, protection against unfair dismissal, increasing the number of employees in a company but also increasing the chance of errors. These include employee onboarding, scheduling, clocking in, attendance, leave, reimbursement, salary, MPF, and tax reporting.
