We are seeking an Accountant on behalf of our client, a 5-star Hotel in Hong Kong to join their team.
Accountant
Responsibilities:
1. Income Audit & Costing:
- Review daily income audit processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies including verifying and reconciling revenue streams (room revenue, F&B, and other hotel operations).
- Monitor and analyze cost control measures across F&B Outlets, provide insights to improve profitability.
- Collaborate with all Departments to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
2. General Ledger & Month-End Closing:
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of income audit, cost control, and general ledger month-end closing experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Opera, Shiji POS, Material Control System and Sun Accounting System) and Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
